A graduate develops a wine bar under brand license
Antoine Castillon deploys Le Cercle des Arômes and its concept of wines by the glass
Antoine Castillon, who graduated from the BSB Bachelor in 2014, launched his wine bar Le Cercle des Arômes in 2017 in Colmar. “The concept is simple: we offer more than 150 wines by the glass, which can be enjoyed in 12cl or 6cl for the most prestigious wines,” he explains.
“Today, we have the second largest wine list by the glass in France, with partnerships across the country, a strong network that allows us to combine our references by the bottle with advantageous prices. Our customers can thus discover independent winemakers from all regions of France, while enjoying a menu of quality dishes prepared in front of them, to snack on and share.”
Entrepreneurship virus
Building on the success of this bar and a second one opened in 2019 still in Colmar, Antoine now aims to deploy his concept, first in Grand-Est France, and why not at a national level in another time. “I had time to think about the development of my project during the Covid crisis, and I considered that there was real potential via brand licensing. A new establishment has thus recently opened in Mulhouse.”
Antoine, who has always had the entrepreneurial bug and remembers his BSB Bachelor's degree as constituting “a great ecosystem to start”, is therefore looking for future licensees. “My concept is mainly aimed at young people leaving school or managers in retraining who would like to create their business in a friendly environment, with good prospects of profitability.”
