Degrees recognized in France and abroad
Bachelor's/Master's degrees and Bac +3/+5 courses are often confused, as both require 3 or 5 years of study. However, there is an essential distinction. The Licence/Master degree is not automatically awarded to all courses, but is the result of a strict evaluation based on a number of criteria: quality of content, admission criteria, teaching methods and qualifications of teaching staff.
In France, out of 400 institutions labeled as 'Ecole de commerce,' only 26 offer degree programmes, and 40 provide Master's degree programmes.
