Testimonies

It is important to us to support each student from their arrival at BSB to their professional integration, taking into account their specific needs.

The follow-up is adapted according to the evolution of each person's situation, in order to ensure the success of all in an adapted and caring environment.

Orlane REBOUX

Head of the Handicap Mission

The Disability Mission within BSB is a very useful device when you need help with administrative procedures such as with the MDPH and/or RQTH request but also when you do not know all the available accommodation options that you can benefit from.

In particular, I met Orlane REBOUX who explained to me how to fill out the MDPH file. In fact, I thank her for her support.

Elisa BRILLAIS

2nd year bachelor student

Even before finalizing my registration, the BSB Disability Mission contacted me to find out if I needed specific support and to reassure me about the accessibility of the School!

This allowed me to feel very comfortable and to go to campus with peace of mind. I was quickly able to discuss my projects with Orlane REBOUX. I have had a tibial prosthesis for 3 years and no longer need special support. On the other hand, I had wanted for a long time to practice the sports that are important to me again, including skiing. Thanks to Mission Handicap and its partners, I was able to obtain funding, and in the space of 3 months this project came to fruition. I will receive my prosthesis soon, which seemed unthinkable before joining BSB.

Once again, I thank the School's Disability Mission, and especially my interlocutor Orlane Reboux for allowing me to carry out this project that was dear to my heart. The support is adapted to everyone, it allowed me to have a very good first year of Master 1. Can't wait to start Master 2!
Thanks to the system deployed by the Disability Mission, as a professor, I am informed of students who have requested support due to specific needs.

In this way, I can adapt my pedagogy in the classroom, offer solutions that allow each of our students to be able to meet academic requirements calmly.

Our actions

A pillar of BSB's mission to train responsible and ethical entrepreneurs, The BSB Handicap Mission also carries out actions to make students aware of issues related to disability. using various tools:

Conferences

Mental health, with INFIPP, a mental health training organization; representations and prejudices related to disability, with Unirh-Thransition, a partner of the CGE (Conference des Grandes Ecoles), key topics are addressed to raise awareness among employees and students.

Virtual reality

Raising awareness in a fun way is possible! The virtual reality experience animated by Kajuci allowed students to put themselves in the shoes of people with different disabilities, in order to realize the difficulties encountered. An exchange with a professional gives you the keys to change your perspective, better understand and adapt.

Escape game

The APF France Handicap brings the Handigmatic experience to BSB employees and students. Disabling people during an escape game, followed by a debrief by a professional, allows fun and effective awareness-raising.

Workshops

Various workshops are offered to our students in order to deepen a particular theme. Sign language workshops could thus be offered with COM/Une Différence in Lyon, and Visuel in Dijon.

Associative life & disability

Each year, the BDS (Bureau des Sports), with the regional disabled sports committee, the BDA (Bureau des Arts) with artistic educators specialized in art therapy and the BDE (Bureau des Étudiants) of BSB organize events organized around exchanges, discussions, discussions, workshops and scenarios in order to actively raise awareness among all BSB students.
