The MS MECIC Paris (Specialized Master in Management of Cultural Enterprises and Creative Industries) aims to train future professionals in the management of cultural professions and creative industries (cinema, performing arts, radio, publishing, publishing, museums, museums, sponsorship, internet, video games...), both in the financing, production, distribution and mediation phases.

This training is aimed at students, young professionals, management professionals who want specialize in creative industries, with artistic profiles eager to acquire marketing and cultural communication skills and to international students who want to discover the French model in promoting heritage or supporting film production.

How to join the MS MECIC - Paris?

To join the Specialized Master, you must meet one of the 3 conditions below:

  • Have a French Master
  • Have a French Master 1 on an exceptional basis to study by our admission team
  • Have an international Bachelor's degree or a French Licence degree + 3 years of work experience

This training can be followed as part of a VAE (Validation of Acquired by Experience).

The integration of MS MECIC Paris takes place in 2 phases :

  • Eligibility : the candidate completes and sends the application form with the requested information. If their application is eligible, they will be invited to the admissions panel

  • Admission : The final selection includes a one-hour interview with the panel, consisting of a discussion about the candidate’s academic and professional background, and how it aligns with the MS MECIC - Paris programme. This is followed by a conversation about the candidate’s goals, professional projects, and their fit within the training curriculum.

The MS MECIC - Paris takes place on our Paris campus. Located in the 15th arrondissement, this campus enjoys a privileged location, at the centre of cultural activity in the capital. It is an opportunity for students to meet regularly with stakeholders in the sector, at the rate of 2 meetings per week.

Each component of your training is evaluated throughout your career at BSB: academic knowledge, professional mission and professional thesis.

Academic courses are evaluated on the basis of continuous checks and final checks. Evaluations can take the form of individual exams, individual or group case studies, oral presentations... Your professional experience (internship, hiring or starting a business) and, where applicable, the corresponding reports, are evaluated by the teaching team and by the company.

To obtain your diploma, all course modules, professional mission and professional thesis must be validated (obtaining an average of 10/20 at least).

 

The program provides 527 hours of courses over the year.
