New signature: We Believe in YOUth

BSB asserts itself as the school that creates the most added value for its students

As the first step of the 2022—2027 strategic plan, which will be presented by the end of the year, BSB reveals its new signature: We Believe in YouTH. This reflects both a strong investment in support, the core of the School's DNA, and a desire to go further by asserting itself as the School that creates the most added value for its students. One Original movie illustrates the new identity of BSB. Among the actions put in place to achieve this ambition, PathfinderTM, launched at the start of the next school year, is a unique system of global support for students until their first job.

“We believe in young people and in our students in particular”

This is what has been BSB's strength for 120 years: supporting its students. “With this signature We Believe in YouTH, the new identity of the School is based more than ever on this DNA” explains Sandrine Reboud, Marketing & Communication Director at BSB who coordinated the brand platform. “We believe in young people and in our students in particular. We believe that our role is to give them confidence, to make them aware of their capacity and to allow them to surpass themselves. Everyone must be able to reveal their potential” affirms Stéphan Bourcieu, CEO of BSB.

“This goes hand in hand with a taste for effort that they must show: we are convinced that where there is a will, there is always a way to fulfill their aspirations. By being able to take responsibility, to be involved in your success, to overcome obstacles, to get back on your feet. That's our goal: to help each of our students think big for themselves.”

Mission added value

Thanks to this support, BSB now wishes to go further by asserting itself as the School that creates the most added value for its students. “Whatever their level upon arrival, we must generate in each of our students the greatest possible differential at the time of graduation, in terms of skills and ambition,” continues Sandrine Reboud. “To do this, we provide them with a framework for learning, emancipation and experimentation, in which they are open to others and know how to understand the challenges of our disrupted world.”

The idea is to co-create with everyone a tailor-made path until the realization of their professional goals, with fully personalized courses. One of the major keys to meeting this objective is the launch of PathfinderTM. This global and transversal system, which will involve a complete team of specific coaches, will follow each student from integration to the first job, on the academic, international, professional, but also personal dimensions. “It is a great and very concrete lever for our obsession with offering the best possible student experience while preparing for the next stage”, concludes Sandrine Reboud.
