BSB coordinates the European research project ForestAgriGreenNudge
The project ForestagriGreenNudge (Green NudgeS for sustainable ForestRy and Agricultural practices post 2027), led by Nikolaos Georgantzis (photo), a BSB teacher-researcher within the Wine & Spirits Axis, is the winner of the Horizon Europe program on destination 7” Governance” of Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment”.
For this project, BSB is thus leading a consortium of 13 European partners and two British associate partners, which will be coordinated by Nikolaos Georgantzis from the School of Wine & Spirits Business. It is the first time that a French business school has the honor of coordinating a European project of such magnitude on the global issue of sustainable agriculture and food.
Building on the combined strengths of its various stakeholders, this ambitious project aims to identify Green Nudges Effective and the factors of their effectiveness in terms of the actors and the context of implementation.
Promote eco-responsible behaviors
Derived from behavioral economic theories, the Nudge (or “boost”) is a non-binding solution to encourage individuals to implement desired behaviors. We are talking more specifically about Green Nudges To do adopt eco-responsible behaviors and more virtuous practices.
In collaboration with interventions already established within the European Union, the project team will present concrete examples of Green Nudges In action and will work with actors in the value chain to propose and implement new Green Nudges effective.
She will engage with policy makers to ensure that Green Nudges are effectively integrated into policies and will create a” iNudge Academy” to support any actor wishing to select, apply and benefit from Green Nudges.
The total budget of the project is €3 million over 3 years and a half, financed by the European Commission and UK Research and Innovation. The launch is scheduled for November 2024.
