Events in a Flaash by two graduates

The Uliczny brothers launch this platform that allows you to find a place in record time

A few years after graduating from the BSB Bachelor, in 2020, Antonin and Bastian Uliczny intend to shake up event organization with their start-up Flaash. These twin brothers, bursting with energy and creativity, were able to transform their shared passion for entrepreneurship into an ambitious project that dusted the search for places for events.

Flaash: a fast, intuitive and free platform

The idea behind Flaash is simple but effective: to allow everyone to find the ideal place in record time to organize their event. With thousands of locations listed in France, Flaash offers an ultra-fast search and centralizes all stages of the process (requests for quotes, answers, messages) on a single interface, all while relying on the powerful potential of artificial intelligence.

In need of time? The platform can even take care of your brief and do the research for you. All for free. A revolution for event organizers.

We have always wanted to create projects that bring value while remaining accessible. With Flaash, our aim was to develop a win-win business model: for customers, for places and for us”, explains Antonin.

The entrepreneurial spark at BSB

Antonin and Bastian joined BSB just after high school to follow the Bachelor program in Lyon. Driven for a long time by the desire to start businesses together, they take advantage of courses, the support of professors and the support of the school incubator to develop their ideas. Their first projects: Jumul, sweatshirts and T-shirts made in France, then Pile Ou Face, a mismatched socks brand, still made in France.

It was therefore at BSB that the idea of Flaash began to germinate, thanks in particular to a course of 3rd year on the economic models of platforms. ”This course was a revelation for us. It allowed us to structure our vision and to design Flaash as a collaborative platform where each stakeholder finds their interest”, recalls Bastian.

A path rich in learning

Before launching Flaash, Antonin and Bastian first created a first manual version called Bookevent.co, which redirects customers to suitable event locations. For three years, they patiently built an extensive database, paradoxically taking advantage of the Covid period to exchange with professionals in the sector, who are more available, and to enrich their project.

At the same time, they acquire key skills thanks to their first professional experiences. Antonin works at Alten as a Business Manager, while Bastian joins Amazon Retail. Today, Antonin is working full-time at Flaash, while Bastian combines his role at AWS with the strategic development of the start-up.

Complementary and ambitious

The strength of the twins lies in particular in their complicity and complementarity. Antonin excels in commercial aspects and the front office, while Bastian focuses on marketing, data and digital tools.

We understand each other without having to talk too much. And when there are disagreements, we get right to the point without any frills. It's a real time-saver!” says Antonin.

Strong values, a promising future

Flaash continues to grow, with the ambition to broaden its user base and integrate new functionalities, such as quantifying the carbon impact of events. The two brothers will also continue to rely on artificial intelligence, which they consider to be a great optimization tool.

Any last words? ”If we could give one piece of advice to BSB students, it would be to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the school. It all starts here!” concludes Bastian.
