The ECOPAC project is well supported!

The BFC region is funding this research on the environmental commitment of companies.

La Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region has just awarded a research grant of nearly 17,000€ To the project ECOPAC as part of the Recherche Enverge-Force-Amorce-2024 program.

This project, under the scientific responsibility of Henri Tran (photo), in collaboration with Thu Ha Tran (Finance-Governance-CSR axis), explores how Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOps) — Employee Share Ownership Plans —can influence environmental commitment within companies.

ECOPAC is thus based on a transdisciplinary approach that mobilizes management sciences to study governance tools, as well as sustainable finance to analyze the impact of ESOps on the environmental practices of businesses. The objective is to determine if and how employee participation through ESOps can strengthen business commitment to sustainable practices.

This research project is part of a dynamic of collaboration between several academic institutions and regional companies, aimed at generating results applicable both locally and nationally.

ECOPAC will therefore have a real virtue in helping to strengthen corporate social responsibility (CSR) as part of the regional sustainable development strategy.
