BSB (Re) Connect: a 4th edition that is ever more inclusive and innovative
Since its creation in 2020, the BSB (Re) Connect program has embodied BSB's commitment to the integration and support of refugees in their professional reintegration. This year, for its 4th edition, the program welcomes 24 participants, with new features designed to better meet their needs.
An exceptional diversity among the participants
The 2024 promotion is distinguished by its human and cultural wealth:
- A mostly female group, with 2/3 women, aged 18 to 58.
- Participants from 6 countries around the world: Afghanistan, Syria, Syria, Sudan, Ukraine, Russia and Yemen.
- Varied career paths, ranging from technical jobs to artistic or academic professions: saleswoman, mechanic, programmer engineer, professor, cartoonist for newspapers, accountant, seamstress, pharmacist, pharmacist, digital marketing specialist, and many others.
An enriched program to promote employability
The program will run from January 10 to May 31, 2025, offering tailor-made support to help participants rebuild their professional project in France.
This year, a major innovation has been integrated: traffic code courses. This initiative aims to remove one of the first obstacles to employability: access to mobility. By making it easier to obtain a driver's license, BSB (Re) Connect allows its participants to move more freely and to multiply their professional opportunities.
A dynamic and united start
As every year, the start of the school year will be animated by the improvisation troupe Lisa 21, which will bring a touch of energy and conviviality to this important day. This moment is designed to strengthen the cohesion of the group and instill a positive dynamic from the very beginning. It will take place on Friday 10 January starting at 2 pm.
A lasting partnership for a lasting impact
The BSB (Re) Connect program is still funded by the Departmental Directorate for Employment, Labor and Solidarity (DDETS), a loyal partner of this initiative since its inception. This collaboration guarantees quality support for each participant, while affirming BSB's commitment to social and professional inclusion.
A commitment that makes a difference
With this 4th edition, BSB (Re) Connect continues to play an essential role in the professional reintegration of refugees. By offering concrete tools, adapted courses and personalized support, the program contributes not only to transforming lives, but also to enriching our society by valuing the diversity and talents of each person.
