Finance, Governance, CSR
The Finance-Governance-CSR Axis studies issues in relation to the methods of governance and financing of organizations and with CSR.
The themes addressed by this axis are as follows:
Governance
Composition and role of boards of directors, gender diversity on boards of directors, role of other governance mechanisms and actors (regulatory bodies, unions, creditors, etc.), governance of cooperatives, etc.
Corporate finance
Reorganizations following bankruptcy, companies in financial difficulties, status of start-ups, status of start-ups, private loans and legislation, individual investors and legal protection, accounting and taxation, microfinance, participatory financing, slow money, financial technology for development, financial technology for development, crowdfunding (in biotechs, such as financing SMEs, legislation)
CSR
Role and impact of stakeholders on the management of organisations, responsible management, social dialogue, trade unions and skills, CSR trajectories, CSR communication, responsible innovation and social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship and innovation, CSR networks and territories, environmental challenges (energy and environmental benefits of R&D support policies, trade unions in territories and social and environmental responsibility, expectations of cooperative bank customers), social responsibility in public organisations, CSR in cooperative banks.
This research contributes to several dimensions of BSB's mission:
- With regard to the academic community publications in classified journals (FNEGE-ABS) and papers in national and international conferences
- At the territorial level partnerships with local organizations to meet needs expressed by local actors
- For students research work mobilized in the courses of BSB programs and in the supervision of professional theses
- For civil society round tables, press briefings, videos, blogs
