Entrepreneurship and innovation
The scientific project of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Axis aims to develop original reflections on sustainable business models, the implications associated with the corporate social and societal responsibility, and theentrepreneurship education. These themes are questioned around three main dimensions: strategic, managerial and pedagogical.
The work is oriented around 3 main questions:
Which conceptual changes can induce the addition of the concept of responsibility or sustainability to entrepreneurship and management?
How do these changes impact the transmission of knowledge to our stakeholders : students, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial support and development structures?
What role can play Entrepreneurship within improving sustainability?
All of this work contributes to several missions of BSB:
- On the academic level: publications in classified journals (FNEGE-ABS), publications of research books, papers in academic conferences, involvement in academic associations and in journal editorial committees
- On the educational level: research is integrated into teaching modules, in the supervision of professional theses, and in the writing of case studies for students
- Involvement with professional organizations (AFNOR, INPI, École Nationale Supérieure de la Police, etc.)
Creation of the Agroscan PME diagnostic tool
Following extensive data collection from companies, large groups and international players, the tool is designed as a support tool for SMEs in the agri-food sector who would like to analyze their Business Model and develop it. Composed of five modules allowing each to target a particular theme in business analysis, AGROSCAN PME aims to support the strategic thinking of an SME, in order to enable it to improve its Business Model and to better understand the evolutions that affect the agri-food sector.
