At BSB, this program won't turn you into an artist, but it will equip you with the skills needed to manage, market, and sell cultural products, both in national and international markets.

You are developing a hands-on experience in managing cultural events by participating in several projects organized in working groups through our Active Learning pedagogy. You also gain in-depth knowledge of the arts and creation sector through seminars and meetings with professionals in the sector.

This program helps you develop your contacts and collaborations with artists and cultural professionals across Europe and especially in France.

The programme includes creating a cultural logbook to develop valuable skills in critical observation, strategic thinking, and synthesizing industry dynamics.

How to join BSB's MSc Arts & Cultural Management?

Prerequisites : hold a French Master 1, or an International Bachelor, or be in Master 2 from the Master Grande Ecole program at BSB.

To apply, you must complete an online application form. To learn more about you, your experiences, your interests in BSB and your expectations, you will be asked to record a 30-minute one-way video interview that will take place on a specific platform for our admissions team to view and assess later.

The Master of Science Arts & Cultural Management trains future managers with a passion and interest in the arts by providing them with the knowledge, experience, and skills to work in cultural and creative industries, both nationally and internationally.

By enrolling in this program, you will gain direct experience in managing cultural events by participating in several projects organized in working groups through our Active Learning pedagogy. You will also gain in-depth knowledge of the arts and creation sector through seminars and meetings with professionals in the sector.

Programme evaluation criteria

Each module is subject to an evaluation that is defined according to the objectives and the skills sought. These evaluations must be most in line with the tasks requested during professional life.

They take place either during or at the end of the module, or at the end of the semester and take different forms:

  • Proof written on a table
  • Individual work in the form of a file
  • Group work
  • Individual or group oral presentation

The final paper is eliminated if a grade of at least 10 is not reached.

The program provides 436 hours of courses over the year.
