In 2025, Passerelle is diversifying its admission paths
Based on the observation that students follow increasingly varied trajectories and in order to reaffirm its position of openness to all profiles, Passerelle is diversifying for the coming year the methods of selecting students with a minimum bac+2 level, interested in continuing their studies in a Business School.
Thus, in parallel with the maintenance of the Passerelle 1 & 2 entrance examination, allowing access in particular to the BSB Grande Ecole Master - and to the Grande Ecole Program of the other member schools - after a bac+2 or a bac+3/4, Passerelle opens a new path of access to allow high school graduates to join the third year of the bachelor's program at these same schools.
Passerelle's projects and prospects in 2025
In 2025 Passerelle will have three member schools: BSB, EM Normandie and IMT Business School.
These three schools will each offer two recruitment routes:
- The Bachelor 3 Passerelle entrance examination to join the school in the 3rd year of the Bachelor program and obtain a bac+3 diploma conferring the degree of license,
- The Passerelle 1 & 2 entrance examination to integrate the Grande École Program in pre-master or master 1 and obtain a bac+5 diploma conferring the degree of master.
”The 2024 edition was marked by a massive arrival of young BUT3 graduates in the Passerelle 2 entrance examination”, underlines Stéphan Bourcieu, President of Passerelle on an interim basis. ”In addition, a slight decrease in our result on Passerelle 1 (-5% compared to 2023) invites us in 2025 to diversify our offer for BAC+2 students, who are not necessarily still planning on long studies and wish to first validate a BAC+3 level knowledge base”, he explains.
Like what was put in place in 2024, and always with the aim of streamline the selection process, admissions will be announced to candidates within 48 hours of the arrival of their last note, except during the embargo periods requested by the CDEFM.
”By reducing the time it takes to announce the results, we want to allow candidates who register early to benefit from the support services of their future school, especially if they are looking for an apprenticeship - and there are more and more of them in this case”, underlines Catherine Gautier, General Delegate of Passerelle. ”They will also have more time to look for housing or take out a bank loan if necessary.”
Selection procedures in 2025
Registrations have been open since November 20 and will last until June 27, 2025.
- The Passerelle Bachelor 3 competition — 520 open places
To apply for Passerelle Bachelor 3, candidates must mandatory study in a field related to management, marketing and business management, then justify their academic level using documents obtained during their schooling (bac grades, school reports). Two other tests will complete the candidate course, namely an English test and an individual interview, supplemented by a professional and personality file, and a CV.
- The Passerelle 1 & 2 competition — 175 seats open on Passerelle 1 and 1,850 in Passerelle 2
To join the Grande Ecole Program of one of the member schools, all candidates can apply, regardless of their sector of origin. Once their CV has been submitted and the professional and personality file has been completed, candidates must pass an English test and an individual interview.
- The tests
For both competitions, the English test takes place online or can be replaced by an external test certificate (TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS/Cambridge); the individual interview takes place either in person or remotely.
- Admissions
Three grades in B3 and two grades in P1/P2 will be taken into account for the calculation of admission, each grade being weighted by coefficients specific to each school. To be admitted, the candidate must score a number of points greater than the admission bar specific to each school and each program.
- Enrollment fees
They amount to €50 by entrance examination; the gratuity is granted for scholarship recipients.
Summary of the Passerelle 2024 competition
”The establishment of a more flexible calendar spread over time, in order to better correspond to everyone's rhythms, has made it possible to obtain very good results. It also shows the agility of our schools, which were able to make themselves available throughout the year to receive candidates”, explains Catherine Gautier.
With 1,260 open seats, including 300 in Footbridge 1 and 960 in Footbridge 2, the Passerelle 2024 entrance examination attracted 2,024 students who registered for the entrance examination and passed the exams, 1,154 of whom are now pre-master students (winners of the Passerelle 1 entrance examination) or master students (winners of the Passerelle 1 entrance examination) or master students (winners of the Passerelle 2 entrance examination) in one of the member schools.
”While in previous years, registrations ended at the end of April, this year we saw that more than 20% of our candidates decided to register starting in May”, specifies Catherine Gautier.
