Signature of a double degree agreement with ESEO

An “Engineer-Manager” course with the Grande École d'Ingénieurs, under the sign of openness and diversity

BSB and ESEO, a leading engineering school for digital transformation, have just signed a partnership agreement launching an “Engineer-Manager” course. It is accessible to ESEO students who can thus join the Master Grande Ecole (MGE) from BSB and obtain an MGE BSB-ESEO double degree.

This course is open to initial training but also to work-study training. It also allows ESEO students to join the BSB Masters of Science (MSc), the latter option then offering the unique possibility of obtaining a triple degree: the ESEO engineering degree, the MGE BSB and an MSc in one of BSB's areas of excellence.

Diversity and dual expertise are in demand

Stéphan Bourcieu, CEO of BSB, wishes to highlight” the remarkable work done by the BSB teams, with Nathalie Huet, Director of Development, and Niki Papadopoulou, Director of Programs, in mind. I also welcome the action of Cyril Vallée, Director of the ESEO Dijon Campus, to bring this agreement to fruition, which will strengthen the diversity of students within our MGE. ”.

Niki Papadopoulou goes on : “This Engineer-Manager course represents an opportunity for our two institutions to train young people in Burgundy on a dual skill that is highly sought after by companies. This interdisciplinary and hybrid approach is particularly positive for students from both schools because it will bring a more global vision to the classroom and will enrich the quality of debates on essential themes such as CSR, sustainable management, the understanding of digital technology and its impact on tomorrow's organizations.

Territorial approximation

These courses are now open to students from ESEO Campus in Dijon, but also from campuses in Angers and Paris. Sonia Wanner, CEO of ESEO, is delighted with this agreement “which is part of the development of the ESEO Dijon Campus, which has been ongoing since 2019. This partnership is representative of our commitment to offering our students high-quality interdisciplinary courses. I am convinced that this collaboration will encourage the emergence of joint research and innovation projects.”

This agreement also reinforces the links between higher education institutions in Dijon Métropole. It is part of the construction of the EPE Université Bourgogne Europe, which will be officially launched on 1Er January 2025. Vincent Thomas, President of uB, said to himself” very happy to participate in the signing of this double-degree agreement between two institutions that wanted to join the Experimental Public Establishment initiated around the University of Burgundy. We have been working together for several months to change the regional structure of higher education and research. Bringing forces together is not only necessary but essential in a fast-paced and fast-paced world. A real dynamic is in place to increase the influence and attractiveness of our establishments.
