New BSB Lyon Campus: it's signed!

On March 27, 2024, all the stakeholders of the Campus BSB Lyon 2025 project were brought together for a presentation to the Burgundy press. An appointment that was an opportunity to officially sign the partnership agreement by the various investors.

In July 2025, BSB will in fact integrate its new campus in Lyon 8th arrondissement. A real estate project of 8,800m2 for an investment of nearly €39M excluding VAT — i.e. one of the largest real estate projects launched in 2023 in Lyon — and a goal of 2,500 students.

The school aims to assert itself as the second business school in the city, by duplicating the model that made Dijon so successful, based on support and student experience ”, recalled Stéphan Bourcieu, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of BSB.

Olivier Léon, second member of the BSB Management Board, added:” All schools now need to redefine their development strategy. The vast majority decided to massively grow and strengthen their Parisian presence. For our part, we aim for reasonable growth through the development of our roots in Lyon, which began 10 years ago. It is the second largest geographical student area in France, with a rich ecosystem that allows us to welcome our students for apprenticeships and internships.

Proud and mobilized stakeholders

During the event on 27 March, representatives of the project operators were first able to testify about their action: Carré d'Or, Sud Architects, Patriarch, JLL and Ingenis. Then the partner-investors were able to present the large financial resources of the project, and explain why they had chosen to invest in the construction of the new BSB Lyon 2025 campus: the CCI Côte-d'Or ⋅ Saone-et-Loire, the Banque Populaire Bourgogne Franche-Comté (BPBFC), the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Savings Bank (CEBFC), the Banque Popelle Auvergne Rhône Alpes and A Plus Finance are alongside BSB in this adventure.

Signing (from left to right on the photo): Jean Verillac (BPAURA), Fabien Chauve representing Jérôme Ballet (CEBFC), Denis Regnault (CCI21/71), Camille Plumet representing François de Laportalière (BPBFC), Bruno Duchesne (new chairman of the BSB Supervisory Board), accompanied by Gérard Desbois, outgoing Chairman of the BSB Supervisory Board).
