BSB wins the DD&RS Label
BSB has just obtained the DD&RS Label (Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility) for a period of two years. It is the main tool for recognizing the societal commitment of higher education and research institutions.
This certification follows an audit that took place last April, during which the label's auditors reviewed the strategy and achievements of the School, taking into account 5 areas:
- Strategy and governance : vision, structuring and management of the DD&RS approach
- Pedagogy : integration of DD&RS topics in courses and training
- Research : production and research actions related to DD&RS topics
- Environmental management : actions in favor of climate and biodiversity on campuses
- Social policy : mechanisms and actions in favor of social ties between all stakeholders
In particular, the audit team welcomed:
- An approach committed and supported by management in favor of CSR issues with the desire to bring these questions to the level of overall strategy of the institution.
- Mobilized teams and actions and projects launched or imminent to carry out this commitment within the various services and with students.
The certification process tests and engages us to go further to further transform the culture, strategy and practices of the School for a more sustainable and sustainable world. BSB is thus rewarded for its approach Act for Change in terms of social and environmental responsibility. It is structured around three axes: Act for Respect, Act for Sustainability and Act for Empowerment.

About the DD&RS Label for Higher Education Institutions : Created in 2015, it is the result of the collective work of a dozen universities and Grandes Écoles, the Conference of Grandes Écoles (CGE), the Conference of University Presidents (CPU), the Ministry in charge of sustainable development, the Ministry in charge of higher education, the Ministry in charge of higher education and the Network of Students for an Ecological and Solidarity Society (RESES). This label aims to encourage higher education institutions — places of training, living and research — to be more exemplary and allows them to value their commitment nationally, or even internationally.
